SSMA

SSMA looks for the brightest individuals who can work in a fast pace, dynamic environment that does not have the typical corporate structure (this is a family type atmosphere). Individuals must be smart, responsible, sharing, supportive, capable of self motivation and wanting to work in a fun, adventurous forward thinking environment. No drama allowed here.

As with all entities within the Fashion Palace Group, quality is paramount. We hire only the best and most trained models in the industry. If you feel that you do not need more training, education…or are not willing to teach our other models what you have learned…then SSMA is probably not for you.

SSMA is a pool of models that represents only bachelor degree graduates of the Fashion Institutes. This is our way of assuring that SSMA models are highly trained and skilled.

SSMA Models are among the highest paid in the industry earning from 500L to $2000L per show depending on their title. Our models are used in fully themed fashion shows by our Event Coordinating teams. We also use SSMA models for weekly mini-show events to walk along side with on-the-runway-training students at FI and still receive full pay. We have many other print work opportunities that we draw from the SSMA pool. Our goal is to develop the highest quality, best trained and best paid models in the industry.

If you are already an experienced model and would like to join SSMA, you can transfer your prior formal training from other Academy’s and modeling experience for college credits at Fashion Institute. This process is accommodated through a process we call Professional Assessment Review (PAR). In this process, you can receive life experience credits. These transferred credits are then applied to your permanent student transcript. The fee for this assessment is free and is completed in the Student Admissions Application.

While being optional, we also recommend that you consider sharing your gained knowledge and skills by teaching a class(s) of your own. Our system keeps us all busy, trained, hired and paid!
